Welcome to my blog! I figured I'd take this opportunity to introduce myself...
I'm venturing into the world of blogs because I want to share my love of all things knitting and cooking (and eating). Also, I'd like to practice my writing skills, which have been sorely neglected for the last several years. I was an avid reader and writer as a child, a co-editor of my high school newspaper, and an English major in college...but because my last occupation generally precluded prose (I was a landscape designer), I haven't really written, except through infrequent e-mails to my friends, who kindly put up with my longwindedness and flights of fancy.
And so, I have decided to spare my friends by instead unleashing my musings to the Internets, as they say in the South.
With this Sparkle Tweak blog, I plan to dabble into my fascinations and fixations with food, fiber, and fun. Whoohoo!
